Leadership &
Campus Roles

Supporting students, building community, and helping create spaces where people feel welcomed.

University of Michigan campus

During my academic journey, I have held several leadership roles that allowed me to advocate for students, contribute to campus life, and grow as a collaborative leader.

Leading with empathy.

As Vice President of Michigan Caregivers and Student Parents (MCaSP), I supported a community of students balancing their education with caregiving responsibilities. This experience strengthened my ability to listen, advocate, organize, and lead with empathy.

Helping students find their place.

As a UMSI Student Ambassador, I helped prospective and current students learn more about the School of Information. I enjoyed sharing my experience, answering questions, and helping others feel confident navigating their academic journey.

Building an inclusive community.

My involvement with Black@SI gave me opportunities to connect with peers, support community programming, and contribute to a welcoming environment within UMSI.

Leadership has taught me that meaningful impact begins with listening, showing up, and making space for others.
